Here we go…live-streamed to his vet, his best friend.
Vet says to try and hit 180ml
Absolutely no struggle at all today. We are in luck.
Many thanks for all your good wishes.
There was a bit of sun coming in through the curtains and I thought that might just work in our favour because the vet explained why a cat usually starts fidgeting when more fluids go in. It’s because the cat feels cold. A cat’s body temperature is about 38-39deg but the fluids is at room temperature or lower. So a fair amount of fluids makes the cat feel cold at the point of the needle.
Maybe having some sun did work!
We finished the whole bottle and it ought to be around 180ml.
Yay!!
