An update on 4th November 2018 – We have 17 people now and have raised a total of RM3340 for the animals! Stretch Therapy says we can “stretch” (!) up to 22 people as two of us are “old students” and they are looking forward to helping us raise a bit more for the animals (so are we, so are we!). Two places are sponsored by one of our anonymous donors who has already donated RM500, these two places have been given to two visually impaired participants.
Coincidentally, I just received a notification that I am due for my 8-week check-up with the spinal surgeon for my backache. Back then, he had given me 8 weeks to see if I would experience even a wee bit of improvement from the backache. If not, further investigation would be required (and that would be very scary). But guess what? I don’t even need that appointment anymore now because Stretch Therapy cured my backache entirely in 2 weeks (over 4 lessons)! And that’s a 100% “cure” – good as new!!
Now, I go for lessons once a week. And I’m planning to do that for the rest of my life.
I recommended a neighbour to go for the lessons. He had been having severe backache too. According to him, halfway through the very first lesson, he was already feeling relief from the backache!
We NEED to stretch!
So, would you like to try it? AND raise some funds for the animals too!
We have 5 more places!
An update on 30th October 2018 – Ten people have signed up now and we have ten more places. Might anyone else be interested?
The original post:
You might remember that I had been suffering from excruciating back pain for almost 6 months until I discovered Stretch Therapy and voila…after two weeks, my back was as good as new!
It was amazing and quite unbelievable, that seemingly “simple” (yes, simple because even I could do them!) exercises, through proper and empathetic guidance by the centre’s two dedicated instructors, Wai Kuan and Chi-Chang, could literally “cure” my back pain. Before that, I thought I was doomed for life – to be “disabled”, unable to even bend to pick up things from the floor.
How much it had helped me (after 4 lessons): https://animalcare.my/2018/09/15/stretch-therapy/
And how it cured my backache – good as new (after 5 lessons)!

What I find really good about Stretch Therapy is that they teach you to do the exercises during the lessons, and you have the choice of going home to do them yourself. You don’t have to rely on anyone to do them for you (unlike some other healing methods). Of course, going back for refresher lessons or going regularly to learn new stretches is also a good option (which is what I do now).
Now, Stretch Therapy is reaching out to give back to the community through their “Stretch for Good” series and we are elated and humbled but very grateful and they have chosen us as their first beneficiary.
Although this Stretch Therapy centre is only one year old, they have decided it is time to do some CSR. Kudos to your noble intentions and thank you so much!
