Heidi has been vomiting hairball for a few days now and she needs her medicinal herbs (her “weeds”, yes, with an “s”, as in real “weeds”) to help expel the hair.
But, the Greystoke Kittens and Smurfy had already destroyed and wiped out her grassy patch at Stargate2 which earlier on had an abundance of her medicinal herbs. That former green patch is now a small patch of parched earth which Smurfy loves to take naps on as it’s cooling and good for “earthing”. Then, the kittens have been trampling on the one and only pot of herbs too until they are all dead. So, there is no more herbs there. I brought in a new pot but that got trampled on as well within a few days.
We had to bring in Bunny’s pot of herbs for Heidi this morning. It was a bit of an “emergency”.

This is Bunny’s pot of herbs. We also have to water it frequently because the Alphas tend to spray urine into it as well. We had two trays of herbs but more than half has been killed by urine spray.
Once Bunny’s pot of herbs was brought into the kitchen, Heidi dug into it. Ginger and the kittens were also waiting to eat it, but Heidi growled.
“It’s for me! Stay away….”, Heidi warned. Everyone had to let Heidi eat her share and wait until she moved away before they could dig in.
So later, we dug up some herbs from outside and brought in another pot to Stargate2.

Feasting on it. Everyone loves the grass/herbs.

There is still some at Bunny’s Place, the ones that survived the daily urine spray attacks.
The Greystokes Kittens have also destroyed all of our pandan. They trample on it when they play. I hope they will grow again. They also trampled on Tabs’ lemongrass.
“Greystoke” is an apt surname for them, because they also destroyed our curtains. They jump up, hang onto them and swing from side to side, pretty much like Tarzan, Lord Greystoke of the Jungle!! Lynx can even swing from curtain to curtain!
So yes, “Greystoke” is accurate!
