So, Cow had been faithfully accompanying Bunny by sleeping next to Bunny’s Red Box every day. I said Cow was being the good, faithful and loyal brother while my husband said Cow was just trying to intimidate Bunny into giving up his Red Box.
I was sure I was right.
See this? How can Cow be trying to wrestle Bunny’s box from him? Looks at that caring, empathetic, brotherly face.
Well, this happened today…
Cow was INSIDE Bunny’s Red Box and Bunny looked totally lost.
Oh-oh…
Since Bunny looked so lost and he is blind and has no where to go now, I had to carry Cow out and give the box back to Bunny.
Now, I had actually ordered two of these boxes from Shopee and both were meant as litter boxes for Tabs as her existing litter box was a bit too small for her. When the boxes arrived, I decided to give one to Bunny because we were having a very hard time getting Bunny into the room (he simply had no place and nothing worked – baskets, boxes, mats – he rejected them all). Well, lucky us, the box worked and Bunny had been sleeping in it ever since.
Looks like I would have to order new boxes now, one for Cow and another for Tabs (she was supposed to have two, but one was given to Bunny).
And meanwhile, I felt bad taking Cow out of the box, so I quickly cleaned up Tabs litter box as thoroughly as I could and tried to give it to Cow with the hope that he might want it despite the scent of Tabs and all.
Trying…
Cow, I won’t tell a lie. It is not a new box (but I’ve just ordered new ones from Shopee already). It’s Tabs’ litter box but I’ve washed it thoroughly. Would you like to try it?

Cow is such a good cat, he doesn’t even mind that the box has Tabs’ litter scent. I’m sure it has since a cat’s sense of smell is 40 times stronger than ours.

Well, I want to say that I’m also a good cat since I don’t wrestle anyone’s place from them.
Well…okay. You’re good, Indy.
(But he did steal Bunny’s chairs, actually…)
P.S. Tabs will use her old smaller litter box until the new ones arrive. Good Tabs, she doesn’t mind.
