This is a continuation from the previous post where the broth from the cat food had been given to everyone.
Now, to make the cat food.
First, let me share my recipe but do please consult a pet-nutritionist or a reliable source before you make your own cat food. Mine is tweaked for our super seniors with kidney problems.
Nutritional yeast for Vit B
Wheatgrass powder
Water
I cooked half the recipe today by using 5 chicken drumsticks and 1 chicken breast (920g) but I still added 2 eggs.
Previously, I added fish oil and a Vit B Complex tablet, but Bunny totally refused to eat it, so this time, I omitted both of these. The issue with fish oil is that (so I read), it disintegrates very quickly once the capsule is opened, so it’s rather questionable if fish oil should be added to food which isn’t eaten straight away. The Vit B Complex tablet did smell, so I used Nutritional Yeast this time.
After dishing out the broth for everyone for breakfast, I blended the food.

This is the eggshell powder from Cubgrub. I added a tiny bit since it’s a CKD formula.

Blended!

I can make 8 meals with it. One meal is for today’s lunch.

Tabs loves it! She did not drink the broth this morning but she is eating the food now.

Ginger loves it too.

Cow, Bunny and Cleo are eating it too.

Indy did not want any. He is probably having some GI issues again.

Rey isn’t interested. He eats raw food.

Indy going for some lemongrass (serai) to solve his GI issue.
Later, Smurfy ate some too. But for the Juniors, it’s 100% raw food.
