There’s the residents at Bunny’s Place – Cow Mau, Bunny, Cleo and Indy. They are quite united.
And there’s Minnie-5 at the catio – Minnie, Smurfy, Rey, Robin and Lynx. Now, they are definitely a gang. We should call them the Catio Gang.
And finally, Ginger & Tabs. But they are not a gang. Ginger belongs to the catio and inside the house. Tabs is almost solely inside the house nowadays because she is too scared of the boys, so she hardly goes out to the catio. So the inside of the house should rightfully be called Tabs’ Retreat – it’s where she feels safe.

Rey is almost always at Bunny’s Place every day because he makes that big climb-and-jump over Stargate. They don’t mind his presence.

The rest get to come over to eat grass whenever I let them. But these visits have to be monitored because a fight might break out.

Cow Mau likes to visit the Catio.

But being a sprayer, Cow Mau also has to be monitored. If he sprays too much to mark territory, it might lead the boys to spray too and that would be a nightmare if it becomes a way of life for them.

Ginger and Indy are still enemies. Indy tolerates him, but not for long.

Uh-oh, Ginger is surrounded. I quickly scoop Ginger up and send him back to the house.

Tabs would be happiest if she isn’t involved in any of the political squabbles. She steers clear of all of them. “Leave me alone” would be her motto.

Over at the catio, Minnie occupies her favourite lookout spot.

Here’s Rey and Minnie….and Smurfy underneath!

Smurfy

Bunny’s daily sunbath. It’s good for him.

Cow Mau, still a force to be reckoned with.
