For the past few weeks, a few cats have come into our compound and Minnie-5 have been on red alert at Stargate.
But today, someone else invaded our porch.
That’s Little Riley.
I haven’t seen him with Samantha for many days now. I can only hope that Samantha’s owner have kept her indoors where she would be safe. I don’t know why Riley came to our porch today, but this morning, he was actually mewing near one of our cars. It was very loud mewing too. So I offered a bowl of kibble and he finished all of it. Then he waited for more at the gate and I offered canned food, but he didn’t seem to like it. So I gave him another bowl of kibble which he did not finish.
I don’t know why he is so hungry today. Perhaps his owner has gone off for the weekend and there is no one to feed him. However, Riley is very cautious and will run away when I approach. I can only leave the bowl of food and go away before he comes out to eat.
