My husband and I made a visit to Ms Ong’s burger stall to surprise her this evening.
I’ve never met Ms Ong face-to-face before and I was hoping that she will not recognise me from my whatsapp icon if I’m masked because I wanted to surprise her.
So we located her burger stall at Rock Cafe in PJS11/20 at Bandar Sunway. I didn’t know there was such a huge food court there. We ordered our burgers and waited. Ms Ong did not recognise my voice (we normally communicate through whatsapp voicemail), so that was good.
Another friend of AnimalCare, Ms Liew WY, was also there, so we chatted while waiting for our order.
It was only after we had received our order that I told Ms Ong who I was – Surprise!!
Ms Ong sells burgers from 4pm until 2am every day (except on Thursdays) at Rock Cafe, PJS11/20, Bandar Sunway, to earn enough to sustain her shelter, Survivor Shelter and look after her 47 dogs. Kudos to her for all her hard work and effort!
