December 2012 – Mr Quack was the neighbourhood feline terrorist. He had harmed Ginger and was terrifying all our CNRM cats except Daffodil. Even we humans were terrified of him. So I had to catch him to be neutered. I had Plans A, B, C and D. Finally Plan D worked (carrier with a ribbon). June 2013 – Mr Zurik was also terrorising everyone. I caught him and only because Rosie and Daffodil helped. Without them, I would not have been successful. Both of them were so, so smart.
Some were so easy, like Willy. I just fed him, and carried him into the carrier. As easy as that. He was probably not a feral cat.
But with feral cats, it is quite a challenge. And I would need time, which I don’t really have now.
This was this morning. It would be hard to regain the trust now, after the unsuccessful attempt. And harder with two injured thumbs!!
