Riley came back!

There was a huge thunderstorm this afternoon.

Then, after the rain, Riley came back to the porch to wait for food. That’s good.

She even came inside the house to eat, but she’s very cautious of me now. Sigh…

Cats read minds, so how do you block off your mind waves so that the cat cannot read that you are attempting to close the door?

This is not today’s photo, though. I didn’t take a photo today as it’s been a mad day for me. While Riley was eating, I was busy feeding the other cats. I just left her food in the usual place and open the security door. She came in to eat. Now, I cannot even approach closer or sit on the purple stool – she runs off.

So much for that unsuccessful attempt at catching her this morning. I guess the urgency was triggered by the presence of Creamy. Husband said he saw Creamy approaching Riley. He chased Creamy away.

Meanwhile, I did go and see a doctor about my wounds (bites and scratches by Riley in this morning’s unsuccessful attempt to catch her). The doctor looked at my records and my last anti-tetanus jab was in 2009. A jab lasts for 10 years (wow…I did not know that!). So mine is due, but looking at the nature of my wounds, the doctor said I do not need the jab. So he just prescribed an antibiotic for 3 days to take care of any possible infection and I’m to monitor the wounds.

But having two injured thumbs is a pain. It makes doing things so difficult. We rely so much on our thumbs.
