Ever since Bunny started being very choosy and fussy with his food, I’ve had to resort to the Surprise-Me-Happy-Meals for him.
For him also means for everyone else (Cow Mau, Indy and Cleo). Also, Tabs and Ginger got wind of the news (or the aroma of the canned food or the sound of kibble) and demanded the same too. Only Minnie and the Monsters are on a 100% raw diet.
So ever since the Super Seniors started getting raw, canned and kibble, Cow Mau has put on a considerable amount of weight. Kibble has carbohydrates, so this is not surprising. Putting on weight at his age of 16 years isn’t necessarily a good thing, though. Cow Mau used to be in the “6 series” in his young days, but he had gradually scaled down to about 4.9kg which is good for his older age. Now, he is 5.3kg.
Having gained weight, he also cannot turn back to groom his back, so his back hair often gets matted up. Whether he cannot turn back or he’s too lazy to do it, we don’t know!
So I am now his personal groomer every day!
