Today is exactly 22 days since we caught Riley and took her to the vet’s for a check-up and her first vaccination.
Riley got her booster vaccination today and has been given a clean bill of health. She was spayed on 9th December too.
Riley’s weight was 2.6kg today. On 1st Dec, she was 1.8kg. But she doesn’t eat as much as she used to during the days when I fed her on the street. Now, she only eats twice a day, and definitely much less than her “2 cans in one seating” days! Now, Riley is on raw food. So the vet recommended that she be dewormed monthly.
There is a chance that Tabs and Riley can be friends or “sisters”.
Tabs has shown some concern for Riley too.
Riley is now my bodyguard. She follows me everywhere, especially when I am upstairs.
Riley is still very nocturnal, though. She is active at night and eats the most at night. In the day time, she is usually in her room upstairs, behind the TV which is now officially, her den. She also has her own private litter box in her attached bathroom and personal water bowl in her room.
She plays with Jayden’s toys! Of course Jayden loves all the cats and wants to be friends with all of them. Riley is still a little afraid of Jayden because he gets too excited!
