Why is Jayden up so early?

It’s all Robin’s fault.

At about 4.30am this morning, Robin got into another huge and fiery fight with Smurfy. He is always targeting Smurfy. I rushed out to the catio and found the two embroiled in a fur-flying fight, then Robin chased Smurfy up to the lookout, fought ferociously up there until Robin fell from the lookout down to the ground, felling one of our palm plants on his way down. But I think the plant might be broken his fall too, which is a good thing. But Tony of Golden Triology assured me that cats can jump down safely from that platform.

So Jayden woke up…

…and decided not to go back to sleep.

The perpetrator of the fight.

Evidence: The fallen palm.

Smurfy up on the platform with Minnie on the other end.

Has it got anything to do with the name “Smurfy”? I should have named him Hercules, Thor or The Hulk, then he will be the bully!

Robin and Lynx are in a gang.

Could this be why Rey distances himself and prefers to stay with the Super Seniors?

Ginger didn’t even help.

Cats normally don’t help when other cats fight. They just sit and watch. They aren’t like dogs. However, having said that, the Monsters sometimes function like wolves too. They have the pack mentality. They have surrounded Cow Mau, Indy and Tabs before. We had to come to the rescue – to rescue them from Cow Mau’s wrath and to rescue Tabs from being bullied. As for Indy, he can fend for himself.

Jayden has been up since 4.30am, playing.

I have been up since 2.20am. It’s going to be a long day…
