Cats know more than what we give them credit for.
They have their rules, which in some ways, may give rise to more ethical actions than what we humans have.
Yesterday before Bunny passed, nobody went into Bunny’s cage at all. It was left vacant. Out of respect?
It was only after Bunny passed that Indy went onto the higher platform for the first time ever. Before this, Bunny used to sleep on the “ground floor” on the right. So nobody went up on that higher right platform that is right above Bunny. Out of respect? That’s likely.

Last night, there was a tussle for the cage by Rey!
Rey is too young to understand. He thought he could take over Bunny’s cage. No, Rey. There is a hierarchy here. You got to learn to show some respect, boy.

Later, Indy got back the cage.

I have to spend time with Cow and Cleo.

Rey is your classic disturber of the peace. He has been incurring Cow’s wrath and Cleo’s annoyance many times now. But he doesn’t learn. I think he just wants to play. He has not experienced the full weight of The Wrath of Cow Mau. Even I am afraid of that.
