No, it still hasn’t happened yet. I’m just an anxious as you are! Samantha still has not delivered her kittens.
But Gerald, oh my goodness, Gerald, has been yowling all morning since 4am.
Gerald is a ginger cat and gingers are known to be very vocal. Normally, when he starts vocalising on the ledge, I will quickly go out to feed him on the porch to pacify him so that he won’t wake the neighbours up. That’s how he ends up eating 4-5 times a day, and believe me, he CAN eat.
But today, I failed to pacify him. Even after having fed him, he was still yowling. Very, very loudly too. He yowled so loudly and so persistently that even Jayden woke up and walked around to house to play. Luckily we managed to get Jayden back to sleep after that.
I’m really worried the neighbours would lodge a complaint.
Anyway, Gerald was yowling all over. From the ledge, he probably knows Samantha is in Bunny’s Place now. So he was yowling from there.
Meanwhile, Samantha has been eating like crazy. Every bowl of rehydrated Primal that I give her is “sapu habis” by her. I think I have already given her four bowls this morning, since 4am.
I read from several sites that 24 hours prior the delivery, the queen will stop eating.
Well, our queen has not!
Samantha is restless and pacing, so that ‘s a sign that she is about to give birth soon. She mews too, but not as loud or frequently as Gerald!
