Tabs’ sneezing started two nights ago.
I was already giving her Vetri DMG and Lysine. But it has been raining, so she was still sneezing.
When the sun came out this mid-morning, her sneezing stopped. But just to play it safe, I took her to the vet’s with Samantha.
The vet said Tabs has a lot of allergic cells and her white blood cells is slightly elevated. She says new white blood cells which means these cells have just been formed to fight off an infection.
So the vet prescribed Doxy as the antibiotic and Cetirizine as the anti-histamine. I can continue with the Vetri DMG without the Lysine because the vet says that DMG works more effectively than Lysine. Tabs was also given a Neo-Deca nosedrop to be applied twice daily.
Tabs was dewormed.
Her weight was 4.8kg. It’s been consistent.
Tabs had also been isolating herself in our bedroom upstairs, away from Riley. Good girl, Tabs.
When there is cat flu, it spreads, so I definitely do not want that happening.
