Akira

Japanese. Meaning: It means the sun. Bright, clear, ideal, intelligent. Akira is a gender-neutral name of Japanese origin. This name has grown in popularity throughout the US in the 21st century and is sometimes used as a variation of “Kira”. Akira may also originate from other cultures, too! The Scottish name “Acair”, meaning “anchor” and also with Indian and Sanskrit roots meaning “graceful strength” are to name a couple. Akira is an empowering name that can inspire intelligence, resilience, and clarity in baby.

In Thai, Akira or Arkira (Thai: อาคิรา, อาคีรา, อาคีระ) is a unisex name meaning ‘the sun’ or ‘sunlight’.

Indra

Sanskrit. The name Indra is both a boy’s name and a girl’s name of Hindu, Sanksrit origin meaning “possessing drops of rain”, referring to Indra’s origins as an ancient Vedic deity in Hinduism. Along with being the king of Svarga (Heaven) and the gods, s/he is linked to the sky, lightning, and rain.

This was yesterday’s photo as they are all asleep now, after the excitement from the car ride.

I hope everything will go smoothly now.

I fed Kai and Akira minced chicken meat just now. Both ate on their own. Indra only ate a small amount but she managed to pick it up with her mouth now. An achievement too!

I’m trying to switch Samantha from Primal Freeze-Dried to Coco&Joe’s.  Sam already eats raw chicken breast meat. Now, it’s all about rubbing a bit of Coco’s onto the chicken meat and slowly switching her over, if at all that is possible. She’s way too cautious.
