Misty is the head honcho in the porch now??

Oh no…not only has the equilibrium in the porch been disrupted, it’s more than that.

Gerald is no longer in our porch now.

Only one cat is.

Who?

She.

Misty.

Misty is now the head honcho in the porch. I don’t know where Gerald is. He could be at the neighbour’s (this is not Cmpl’s house, but the other next-door neighbour, the one whose wife is afraid of furry furries).

That’s a tortie for you, right?  They have tortitude and they are very possessive, I’ve been told.

Looks like they are head honchos too.

Later, I went out to look for Gerald and he came back.

Yay, Gerald is back!

Misty, please learn to share this space, ok? It’s big enough for 3 cats.

But one scary bit of story I have not told you, though. The evening before I discovered Hiro at dawn under my car, my husband said he saw Misty carrying a “blackish thing” in her mouth from our compound back to Cmpl’s direction. Misty and Samantha always come from Cmpl’s roof. The “blackish thing” must have been Hiro.

This means, Misty had already brought Hiro to our compound a day before I discovered him under my car that morning.

That also means she could have placed Hiro anywhere in our porch, maybe under one of our cars and what if we had driven out without knowing?? And it was in the evening too. It’s not easy to see Hiro, being the colour that he is.

Oh my…luckily that did NOT happen.

Long ago, Daffodil also brought Ginger to our compound for help. Or, rather, Ginger came by himself and sat inside the cage. He had a paw wound which was on the verge of turning gangrenous. Daffodil then came to visit Ginger every day when I confined Ginger in the “sick bay” so that I can feed him his medicine. That’s how we finally caught Daffodil for neutering.

And now, Misty brought Hiro, on the verge of getting bronchopneumonia.

So, for feeders who still do not want to neuter their colony, I plead with you, please consider neutering.
