The Blondies’ litter box training took a few steps back during the past few days as I was spending all my time with Hiro.
I guess it is going “okay” now and the remaining culprit for pee-ing outside the box is Indra.

Indra’s pee spot is at the ottoman leg, so I put the chair down on the floor to block off that spot. She then pee-ed after the chair…sigh. So I took a tip from one of the many videos I had watched, it says try putting food and water at the pee spot. Cats will not pee or poo near their food.
So I’m trying this method now. I placed a food bowl with food right at the pee spot after wiping it clean.
Let’s see if it works.
When the Blondies are all litter box trained, I might let them out of the room, but let’s hope they will go back to the litter boxes to do their business. It will be madness if they do it all over the house!
As a friend rightly pointed out to me, the “mistake” I made was letting them grow up in such a “big” room. Well, it IS big for the three little kittens, with so much space to pee and poo. If I had confined them in a smaller area or in a cage, they would probably be litter box trained by now. Yes, my friend is absolutely right.
Mistake already made and there’s no turning back now. I have tried confining them in the big cage and looked how that turned out! Hunger strike, protests, the works!

Look at them eat! It is such a joy.
