From stardust to stardust, Be free, Hiro!

Jia-Wen brought Jayden over to pay his last respects to Hiro.

Bye bye, Hiro.

Since Hiro is small, we decided to bury him in Bunny’s Place, where he did spend a few hours for the sunshine.

It was also time to bury Bunny’s ashes.

How do you teach children about death? Jayden is obviously too young to understand. Ryan was here too, but he did not want to watch what we were doing. Yet, he kept asking, “What’s going on? What’s going on?”

Children can definitely sense something is not right, or something sad has happened.

The boys just lost their maternal great-grandfather over the weekend.

So how do we eventually teach children about death. I remember an excellent book my father bought Ming-Yi and Jia-Wen many, many years ago. I will share about this book in the next blogpost.
