It was very chaotic this morning. Let me tell you why.
All seemed well initially. Samantha and the Blondies were on the Stargate platforms.
Suddenly, Samantha started walking on the frames towards the end of the lookout. There are actually two more blue platforms to be inserted on to the frame for the entire length of this lookout, but we removed them because the Blondies can still squeeze themselves out from the holes of the anti-climb roof. We are waiting until July to put the platforms back as by then, hopefully, the Blondies would have grown bigger and would not be able to squeeze out anymore.
But Samantha started walking and balancing on the frame and no sooner than she had done that, Kai was balancing on it too. I actually did not take this photo above, as I was already getting the stool to catch her before she escapes. But when I checked my phone just now, there was a screenshot of this scene. How that happened, I have no idea.
So I quickly got a stool and managed to pull Kai back.
Locked up temporarily while we fix the problem.
This is how curious and agile kittens can be. Imagine balancing on the frame to try to get out?
It was actually Gerald who encouraged her. He kept calling from the ledge, so Kai went to him.
Samantha showed Kai she can balance on the frame. Sigh… Partners in crime.
My husband decided to use these platforms to block off the exit first.
