The Blondies

When it comes to eating, the Monsters are the easiest to feed. They wallop all the food. Just leave all the bowls there with food and everything will be finished. The only exception is Minnie. Sometimes, Minnie chooses to skip a meal, and I let her. Fasting as in skipping one meal is good for detoxing. Cats know best. But it is always only for one meal only.

Cleo used to be VERY difficult to feed. But nowadays, after the Blondies joined them, they have definitely brought much youth, joy, life and cheer to Bunny’s Place. Cleo eats so much better now. Cow Mau also eats much better.

It’s all so good.

Indy, though, is still being very fussy with food, so I force feed him twice daily. If it’s a kibble snack, he will wallop it all. Indy is a junkie. But I’m glad that the days of vomiting the morning (yes, the morning sickness days) are over now. No more of that syndrome.

Kai and her sisters also have a feeding problem. They are too busy playing most of the time that eating is secondary to them. Eating just isn’t important. They aren’t crazy over food like the Monsters. Maybe it’s a girl thing?

Most of all, it’s Kai who is the problem. I would have to hunt her down, carry her to her feeding platform and force feed about 2-5 mouthfuls before she would start eating on her own. Then, she can eat a lot. But on her own, she will not come to her bowl.

Indra and Akira also need this prompting, but it’s not always. For Kai, it’s always.

After I force feed a few mouthfuls, she will eat on her own.

Kai and Akira will be due for spaying soon. Indra still needs her third vaccination before spaying. Indra’s is late by one month because she had the flu.
