Today’s verdict: Cocorex does not work to deter cockroaches.
For new readers, I’m not aiming to kill the cockroaches, just to deter them and to ward them off. These cockroaches come up through the drainhole that leads to the sewage tank. And most likely, Akira and Kai got sick from eating the contaminated cockroaches. But both are on the way to recovery now.
As far as I am concerned, living beings have two justifiable reasons to kill another living being. (1) Carnivores have to hunt and kill for food because they can only eat meat. It’s for their survival. It is instinctive. (2) In self defense where it’s either “kill or be killed”. Again, it’s a natural instinct to protect oneself from being killed by another. You will see (1) and (2) in Nature. More of (1), actually, because in self-defense, animals might not end up killing each other. They normally would just frighten the attacker off.
But when it comes to the human concrete jungle, all hell break loose, doesn’t it? Humans kill for a multitude of unjustifiable reasons like jealousy, greed, anger, hatred, sport, fun (Fishing? Fox-hunting?), etc. Or for merely existing. Yes, like street animals. They just exist, that’s all, and humans have them captured and killed…for merely existing.
We should behave like animals. They are fairer and better than the human species. Humans are the worst species on the planet.
So, back to my cockroach-control endeavours….
Cocorex has failed to deter them, so I’m looking for other alternatives.
