Jia-Wen and Sihui took the boys for a beach holiday recently and Jayden chose a souvenir for me!
It is a handmade cat magnet!
But since it’s made of glass, Jayden has since dropped it twice and as a result of that, the ears got notched…twice! On both sides too.
How apt!

Meanwhile, about a few months ago, Ryan suddenly developed a fear of animals. He started getting very afraid of cats and dogs, especially of Tabs. Of all our cats, Tabs is the most harmless, and Ryan was terrified of her. Nothing happened to have caused this sudden fear.
It took many weeks, but now, finally, that fear is gone!
I think Riley played a part in alleviating that fear out of Ryan by playing with him.
Ryan is also not afraid of Tabs anymore now.
