I fed the Monsters at about 5pm.

Smurfy did not eat much and went to Stargate to look for Minnie.
You see, Stargate is locked and the key is kept nearby. The cleaner isn’t allowed to open it but she found the key and did it. That is why I’m so, so angry.

I wish Smurfy could call Minnie back.

Misty and Gerald are trying to help. I know. They normally don’t stay around after eating. Actually, both did not even eat. Maybe they are as worried as I am.
Shortly after that…

There’s our girl. She’s sitting by the drain just outside our house. That’s her.
I tried to be as calm as I could be. But with Minnie, it’s very tricky. Ginger is easy. Minnie and Samantha would be the hardest. They would be as difficult as catching a totally and completely feral cat because both just cannot be touched.
If you remember, a few years ago, Minnie did the Phantom of the Opera in our attic for FIVE whole days. She was stuck there.
I called her and surprisingly she showed an interest to come back. Gerald was already with her and so was Misty and both of them sort of accompanied her back.
Minnie came back, walked in through the gate and sat in the porch.

You see? That’s Minnie back in the porch with Gerald and Misty. But she won’t come anywhere near Stargate and I also could not open Stargate else everyone else would escape.

Everyone went to Stargate to wait.
Shortly after, Minnie disappeared. By then, I had caught the Monsters and Ginger one by one, and put them into Bunny’s Place. I had to keep Indy inside a cage to prevent fighting. Now, I was able to open Stargate. Everyone else is inside Bunny’s Place, it’s escape-proof.

And I’ve done by raffia string thingie. Tied a raffia string to Stargate, all the way into the house here, and left a bowl of tuna at the catio to lure our queen back in.
Since I’ve already got Gerald and Misty to help, I’ve also done the Kitchen God ritual. I’ll do whatever it takes. But at the same time, to be realistic as well, perhaps Minnie wants to spend a few days exploring her old haunts. She grew up as a feral cat in this neighbourhood. This happened to Daffodil too when she escaped for three days. I consulted an animal-communicator who said Daffodil just wanted to explore outside for a change and would come back when she was ready. She did – after three days. Three nightmarish days.
I have a feeling that Minnie wants the same.
I hope to have good news for you in Part 3. Praying to all guardians: Please bring Minnie back and keep her safe.
