I was concerned about the “hard” lump above Cow Mau’s neck wound, so I texted the vet to ask if I should take Cow Mau for a check-up.
The vet asked for photos.
She assured me it’s normal to have such soft tissue swelling and it would take one week to subside.
Phew…what a relief.
Otherwise, Cow Mau is as normal as ever. His appetite is good and he is totally himself. I can even touch the wound and there are no complaints from him at all.
So, it would take one week for this swelling to subside.
The wound completely closed up on the very next day, and all the boggy mass had completely subsided too. What’s left is this “hard” lump above the wound which the vet says is soft tissue swelling. It’s the part I circled in orange.
