Plant-based “meat” in Malaysia – Wonder Meat

The news:

From the news:

Local food tech company GoodMorning Global Group Holdings Berhad (GMG) launched the country’s first dry mix complete nutrition plant-based meat on Nov 16.

Its WonderMeat product, which is primarily composed of soy and pea protein, has been listed in the Malaysia Book of Records.

This is the their website:

It claims to be the first of its kind in Malaysia. However, as far as I know, there are already many brands on the market in supermarkets. For example, I’ve bought Phuture Foods before. Maybe it’s the first of its kind that satisfies certain criteria.

In any case, we look forward to the day when there is no more breeding of animals as food, no more slaughter-houses and eggs are all from free-range happy chickens who will NOT be slaughtered when they are old but get to live on till natural end and be appreciated for giving us their eggs.

We look forward to no more suffering in factory farms or any farms.

The first step is to simply reduce one’s meat intake and observe meatless meals. Or to simply reduce one’s meat intake at every meal. Instead of whole chunks of meat, go for meat-condiments. Treat it as a spice. Less is more.

Have a Happy Meatless Day today!!
