Putin, the FIP cat treated with Molnupiravir (an update)

I met my friend again today. She’s the one who rescued Putin, a sickly-looking FIP cat and she got Putin treated with oral Molnupiravir under the advice of her vet.

Putin has now completed his 84 days of medication and has put on weight and is doing well! His AG ratio was initially 0.3 (confirmed FIP) but it increased to 0.4, 0.5 and is now 0.7!

This is the previous post about Putin: https://animalcare.my/2023/10/19/a-sharing-of-a-dry-fip-cat-case-treated-with-molnupiravir/

We wanted to share this because there are caregivers who cannot afford the injectable GS 441524. Now, there is an oral medication from India, Molnupiravir.

Molnupiravir is also used with IV-Remdesivir by Project Fight FIP in South Africa: https://animalcare.my/2023/10/28/molnupiravir-for-fip-more-information/

Here are the blood test results, a video and photos of Putin!
