Indra is sneezing

Just now, I overheard sneezing in Bunny’s Place and it was Indra.

She was sneezing too many times and it’s definitely not a random thing.

So I checked my supplies and I have Cetirizine and of course, Vetri DMG. I gave her 1/2 tablet of Cetirizine and 0.5ml of Vetri DMG, with a lot of difficulty, though. Indra is not easy to pill.

All three Blondies do not like being syringed any liquid too.

Then I went out and bought Bromhexine, Ventolin and Water for the nebuliser.

Came home, gave her 1/2 tab of Bromhexine and then, nebulised her. Giving the Bromhexine was surprisingly much easier. Maybe she knows it is for her own good.

My go-to combo for sneezing is always Cetirizine (anti-histamine) and Bromhexine (mucolytic). Nebulising also helps. All these are safe to be given. But not antibiotics – this requires a vet’s examination, diagnosis and prescription.

Before I started the nebuliser, Kai came to check everything out and even went into the carrier to make sure everything is safe for her baby sister. How sweet!

Or maybe Kai was just plain curious! Haha…

Kai is nearby.

Kai and Riley, both here, during Indra’s nebulising process.

Since the nebulisation or was it coincidental, I have not heard Indra sneezing…so far.

In any case, Cow Mau and Indy have an appointment at the vet’s tomorrow, and I’ve asked permission to bring Indra along if she is still sneezing.

But now, I just realised that somewhere nearby (one of the houses), there’s been the sound of drilling all day long. Could the dust have caused Indra’s sneezing?

Well, I certainly hope it’s just a dust-related case or a minor case.

In a multi-cat household, you do not want a flu outbreak!
