Capsules for Indra’s flu

I gave up with the liquid Curam so we drove to the vet’s to purchase Clavamox capsules for Indra’s remaining four more days. The whole antibiotic course is for seven days. We’ve done three days now, miserably, with Indra foaming at the mouth with the liquid. Clavamox is the same medication as Curam. It is amoxicillin and clavulanic acid.

Indra’s sneezing has reduced considerably so I thought it wise to finish off the seven-day course of antibiotics.

Meanwhile, Kai and Robin’s sneezing is being treated by the Cetirizine+Bromhexine combo. Both seem to have it under control so far. I haven’t started nebulising them yet.

The rainy season isn’t helping too.

I think Indra knows she needs the medication so she’s so much easier to pill today. I also think that Curam liquid probably isn’t palatable, and that is why she foams at the mouth. Poor thing. But no more of that now. It’s only capsules, followed by Ciao treat.
