Dorami and Mina try soup!

Ming-Yi decided to try to make chicken soup for her cats, Dorami and Mina.

Here’s how it went:

While the photo shows promise, Dorami only licked a little bit while Mina didn’t care much for it.

Instead, Mina went to sniff at coffee…haha. Like, as Ming-Yi says, how perfume shops give you coffee beans to sniff at in between sampling different products! Mina must saying, “What’s this new food? I need to get the smell off…. Need coffee, coffee, coffee…”

Mina: Eh….I didn’t like it.

Dorami: Hmm…was that even food?

Haha…it takes a lot of effort and patience to get our pets, especially fussy cats (!) to try a new food that we think is good for them! It took me one whole month to transition Heidi from canned food to raw food. It started with her boycotting the food and refusing to even come into the kitchen to eat when I offered raw food. Little by little, literally, by putting a tiny bit of raw food into a nearby bowl, then into her bowl, it took me one whole month before I could transition her! Whereas for Pole and Cleo, they took to it instantly in under four seconds, like, “Duhhh…it has taken you so long to realise this is the right food for us??”

So, yes, it takes time and lots of patience and perseverance to do it!
