Indy’s updates
Indy’s is still not willing to eat on his own. I suppose the only little progress I see is that he walks to the door to greet me every morning instead of sitting under the bed and he has shown some interest in food. However, he is still unwilling to eat on his own. A…

The Porch situation this morning
When husband went out to work early this morning, he told me Creamy was in our porch. At that time, I was busy preparing the medicines and feeding all our inside cats, so by the time I went out to the porch, Creamy had already left. I don’t think he comes to eat. He’s just…

Tabs and her PKD/CKD
We must not forget that Tabs is also a CKD patient, but at Stage 2. Her case is most likely due to the fact that she has some pedigree in her (she’s definitely mixed), so she has had PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) all her life without us knowing about it. I mean, who would simply…

A failed breakfast with the Blondies this morning
A complete failure this morning! I only got Akira to eat. Indra was up on the highest platform and showing me her butt. Samantha wasn’t interested in eating either, which is rare. But I finally got her to eat. So okay, it’s 2 out of 4. Kai was too busy getting ready for battle with…

Indy is still not eating on his own
This is Indy’s breakfast this morning. I have been force feeding him for many days now. We’ve already seen the vet and he has medication for the runny nose. I think the nose is much better now, after being on the Azithromycin. Maybe we just have to let the medication take its course. He’s alert…

Cow Mau’s cremains are back with us
Cow Mau’s cremation was done on 24th March and his cremains were brought back to us this afternoon. I will usually place all cremains on our shrine table until I am ready to commit them to the earth, which will be in our garden. In Cow Mau’s case, it will be Bunny’s Garden where he…

Jayden and Riley
Riley isn’t so afraid of Jayden nowadays. Last time she was because Jayden gets too excited. Bonding with Riley. Food usually works!

The Monsters’ breakfast
I haven’t written enough about the Monsters. Maybe it’s because they don’t give much trouble, especially when it comes to eating! But yes, they do fight. Only that it’s not the type that ends with me having to take them to the vet’s. It’s just the very noisy type. Thank goodness for that! It’s been…

The Porch situation now
Creamy came for two days in the row and the situation at the Porch was quite chaotic. Gerald and Misty didn’t dare to eat again. This morning, there were no signs of Creamy… Misty is getting to be very affectionate nowadays. Maybe, one day, I will be able to open her mouth and deworm her.…

Naughty Blondies
Today was not a good feeding morning for the Blondies. I only managed to get Kai to eat. That’s Kai. Managed to coax Samantha to eat much later. Akira and Indra said, “No, thanks. Who needs to eat?” After more coaxing and more time, Indra obliged. Still a “no” from Akira. But later… Everyone gobbled…

Indy’s illness
Indy started having a little bit of runny nose about a week ago and I had already started him on anti-histamines. Four days ago, he stopped eating. At that time, Cow Mau was still in a critical condition and I didn’t want to leave the house. But I force fed him and have been doing…

In loving memory of Cow Mau (an album spanning 18 years)
It has taken me about a day to sieve through the many thousands of photos and memories of Cow Mau since the day he was rescued from the roadside. And while I was doing it, I paused so many times to recall the particular incident that came with each set of photos. They are all…

Indy to the vet’s (runny nose)
When I took Cow Mau to the vet’s yesterday, I took Indy along too. I have been trying to settle Indy’s runny nose for more than a week now. It didn’t seem very serious initially, so I gave him Cetirizine. Then I added Bromhexine and the nebuliser (Ventolin should only be used a maximum of…
