Misty has taken upon the duty of guarding our porch from intruders and protecting our plants too.
She is our gardening cat!
These are our figs.
Our lemon tree – dual purpose, ie. to provide shade for the platforms and to drink lemon infused water daily (hopefully!).
Our sunkist tree.
Our guavas. We have had the pleasure of partaking in the fruits of our labour for many rounds now!
After a hard day’s work assisting in the gardening, Misty gets a snack.
But she doesn’t want to stay indoors.
She likes to stay on the shoe bench.
In case you are wondering why there are still shoes here, these are not my shoes. Husband refused to put them inside because of inconvenience. My shoes are all inside the storeroom. I’m NOT putting any of my shoes outside ever since the reptilian encounter. Only Japanese slippers.
On my way out today, I saw Socks.
The danger of the EV is that it is so silent that even cats sometimes don’t hear it coming. I have been extra vigilant ever since driving my Dolphin. The car has a under-carriage camera to check under the car too. This is useful before you reverse the car or drive off.
So much for technology, right?
The further away we move from Nature, the worse off we are. But between tail pipe emission, breathing in petrol fumes or the EV, I decided to go with the EV.
Gerald came back only in the afternoon.
He has food from other Rumah Kucing, I’m sure. For all you know, I think perhaps he has a more permanent home than ours. Maybe that is why he bising tak habis-habis during those 18 days when we confined him!
