Gerald and Misty

I got a shock of my life yesterday when I came home and “saw” at this spot.

Phew….it’s Misty!

The reptile was found lying along the wall next to the door. Until today, I always check this spot whether I’m coming out of the front door or coming back towards the front door. I don’t know when the imprint of the image is ever going to leave my mind. I was talking with vet the other day and telling her about this experience and she said one was move very, very slowly away from such a reptile in any encounter because any sudden movement will prompt them to strike.

I know, I know, but how do you move away slowly if you are already shocked out of your wits?

No more, please. This is my second close encounter in my adult life. I’ve had not-so-close encounters during my growing up years living in government quarters.

This is Gerald and Misty’s breakfast today. I’m slowing adding back some raw meat and as usual, both have pre-probiotics. For Misty, I also add 0.5ml of Vetri DMG as she is FIV+.
