Samantha has three daughters – Kai, Akira and Indra.

So, who is Samantha’s current favourite daughter?
Undoubtedly, it’s Kai, her eldest!
While Akira and Indra always escapes to the house every day to play, Kai stays behind with her mum.
At one time, her favourite daughter was Akira. We thought it was a colour coded preference, both being calico. Perhaps she gives them a turn each?
Or maybe not, because Indra doesn’t seem to get a turn at all, and she’s the youngest.

Indra was the youngest and smallest. She was also rejected by Samantha at birth, so I ended up handfeeding her and also her siblings. Perhaps the bond wasn’t formed since young? But she is definitely the biggest and heaviest now! Also, the bravest, because it is Indra who stand up against Rey in his many daily incursions.
I named her Indra, the Indian god of lightning and thunder! A powerful name for the littlest!

Riley is actually a very, very good “elder sister”, whether biological or not. Whenever the Blondies come out to play, it is always Riley who goes up and down the stairs making sure they are all okay.
