Gerald goes to the park with the boys

I didn’t want to make this a daily affair, but Gerald was mewing this afternoon.

I know the body harness isn’t comfortable, so I tried Mac’s old harness. It doesn’t cover so much of the body, as it’s made of thinner straps. Gerald was okay with it.

But in general, cats do not like being taken on a leash. They are not like dogs. They need their freedom.

The boys joined us too.

I took off Gerald’s harness for awhile to give him more freedom.

He doesn’t roam far at all. It’s a very big playground and I only release him in the middle of it, which is very far from the road.

I’m sure Gerald misses tree-climbing and running freely. All in good time.

Back home safely, Gerald has a snack of chicken gizzards. He’s only our cat who loves gizzards. Good for your teeth, Gerald.
