It was raining this morning, so Gerald did not get his trip out to the park. He whined.
The whining is on the increase and I am not sure what to make of it. Maybe he’s just tired of being confined and he wants his freedom again.
Here he is, this morning. He’s the only cat who likes these small cat box-houses in the cat trees.
And he loves to play with the string toys.
This morning, Gerald boycotted raw food, so everyone followed him. Sigh.
I had to give him canned food, and the rest wanted it too. Gerald isn’t showing any good example to his family!
Here he is again, accompanied by Samantha.
My string toy, all mine!
Tabs came in and took Gerald’s newfound spot on top of the cage. Gerald wasn’t happy. But to be fair, this used to be Tabs’ spot too, before Gerald joined Bunny’s Place.
But Gerald didn’t care, he just jumped up and sat his ground. This made Tabs very uncomfortable, of course.
What kind of gangster behaviour is this, Tabs wondered. Tabs jumped down and went to a chair instead.
He got back his spot.
Gerald always takes these naps where he’s in deep sleep. He doesn’t even flinch when I walk around the cage, collecting the laundry. Either he is so trusting, or is he an elderly cat?
