Tabs’ red spot isn’t fungal

It’s been four days now since the culture was done to determine if Tabs’ red spot is fungal.

Well, it isn’t. The vet confirmed that today.

And that red spot is so much better already. I’ve been applying the Triderm cream three times a day.

This is the culture. If it’s fungal, the colour would turn red. It did not.

So, three more days of application of the cream and will continue the ear lotion to treat the yeast infection in both ears too. We have to apply a spot-on as well to take care of whatever is causing the balding. Normally, Advocate works very well for her and she isn’t allergic to it. The vet recommended Bravecto as one vial lasts 3 months, so instead of doing Advocate 3 times, one vial of Bravecto will be sufficient.

No more itching ever since we started her on the cream and ear lotion.
