Happy Gerald is free again!

We decided to release Gerald this afternoon. He had just got up from a nap and was yowling till no end. We have done our best for 35 days, but he just wasn’t happy being confined. He’s a roamer at heart.

The moment I put him in the porch, he ran towards the gate. I could see how happy he was, so it’s the right decision.

But he didn’t straight away go out, though. He made a detour to the garden first, then only he headed out towards the gate.

Oh, the sweet smells of freedom…at last!!

Go and gallivant, Gerald. Be happy!

I wheeled his cat tree back to the porch. I’m hoping he will come back and will have a place in our porch.

Once a roamer, always a roamer. Gerald has his set ways and there’s no two ways about it.

Meanwhile, it’s peace and quiet back in Bunny’s Place for the Blondies and Riley.

I’ve changed the bedspread and some of the covers in the places where Gerald had taken over from the Blondies.

Hopefully, the Blondies will use their three litter boxes again. When Gerald was here, he monopolised all three of them by constantly urinating in all three.

There’s peace and quiet for the Monsters too.

And for us as well.

I’m sure Gerald will gallivant to his heart’s content before he comes back later.

There are risks living on the street, but Gerald just wasn’t willing to be confined.

Be safe and happy, Gerald.
