Is it kitten dumping season?

I guess this happens all year round.

I was upstairs spending some time with Juno and it looked like she wanted food, so I came down to get some food when we suddenly heard loud shrieking cat sound in our porch.

We looked out and saw two neighbours (not from the same house) at our gate. One said there was a kitten in our porch.

Apparently, one of them had found a kitten in the park and decided to leave the kitten at our gate. She thought we might like to keep it. Oh my…. No, no, no, no, we cannot cope anymore.

Luckily another neighbour saw it and she says she wanted to adopt this kitten, so she too came to our gate.

By then the kitten had crawled into my car wheel and was stuck there. It took a lot of effort to catch the kitten as she was very fierce.

A lot of squealing, shrieking and after some time, the young neighbour managed to catch the kitten and she took her home.

Phew….

Imagine if this second neighbour had to seen the whole thing, we would have to deal with a fierce homeless kitten in our porch.

I later texted the first neighbour that we would appreciate it very much if she doesn’t leave cats or kittens at our gate anymore as we already have more than we can cope.

I was really not planning to adopt anymore animals, and along came Juno.
