Doggy’s morning

The leftover rice was eaten over the night, but not finished.

Just as I went out to the porch to clean the bowls this morning, Doggy was right opposite our house, waiting.

I quickly cleaned the bowls and put out a fresh bowl of chicken and rice. But by then, she had gone away.

Creamy was in the porch to eat, but he too went to the gate to look out and decided it would be safer for him to be on high ground.

It’s safer here.

I waited but Doggy did not turn up so I went for a walk, and after a short distance, I came face-to-face with….

…Doggy!

She wasn’t afraid. I could actually go quite near her, but not near enough to pat her.

This is pretty close, right?

I tried to lead her to our house, hoping she would follow me, but instead, she went in the opposite direction (it’s a circle, anyway) and I ended up tailing her from the distance. She took her time and finally got to our house. She knew there’s food for her.

Your breakfast, Madam! Eat up!

She almost finished off all the chicken pieces and left some rice. Then, she went under the neighbour’s car and took a rest.

We went out for breakfast and when we came home, as we approached our gate, Doggy came out from somewhere and walked towards our house. We drove into the porch and guess what…

As I stepped out of the car, Doggy was already inside our porch!!

But she quickly walked off and I followed, but she disappeared down the road.

Well, coming into our porch is a milestone.

One step at a time.
