Vet’s orders: Juno needs to rest

Juno was playing and bouncing all over after coming home from the vet’s, especially when Jayden was around to play with her.

I texted the vet and she said Juno should actually rest. We had a hard time keeping her down, because she was just so playful.

After Jayden went home, we managed to make Juno rest a bit.

Then, I tried some Cubgrub at about 4.30pm and she ate it! It’s a good sign that she is eating back her regular food. I remember this advice from a senior vet last time – if your sick pet is willing to eat back their regular food, it’s a good sign.

But our vet said to give her AD so at 7.30pm, I offered AD and she wasn’t interested, but after rubbing some taste onto her mouth, she started eating it. I guess she doesn’t really like the AD. But she still ate a considerable amount.

Now she is asleep, as she should be – resting, as per the vet’s orders!

Juno isn’t out of the woods yet, so it’s going to be many days of monitoring.
