Finally, Riley is back to using the toilet bowl as her toilet!
When Juno arrived, we closed the toilet seal for her safety. Then, Riley had nowhere to urinate because she taught herself to use the toilet bowl to do it. That’s when Riley started looking for other “holes” and use the kitchen as her toilet, resulting in splatters of urine all over the floor where she does it from the top of the counter that has a right angle (appearing as a “hole”) onto the floor. We’ve been moping up her urine splatters daily.
So, we decided to place a colander into the toilet bowl and keep the seal open. In case Juno falls in, the colander will serve as a safety net. This, unfortunately did not work for Riley. The presence of the colander made her avoid the toilet bowl. Yesterday, I decided to bring back the status quo since Juno has grown bigger now.
In any case, Juno doesn’t play around the toilet bowl, she just loves to play on Ryan’s toilet bowl ladder, which we keep flat on the floor, away from the toilet bowl. Juno uses this as a gymnasium!
So, finally!! Hopefully, she will continue using the toilet bowl now and “forget” about using the kitchen counter as a urinal!!
