The Blondies are really high maintenance cats.
Well, actually, that’s totally my fault because I want them to eat raw. If they could have their way, they would be delighted with any kibble.
To make them eat raw, I resorted to all kinds of toppers. The anchovy (ikan bilis) powder only worked on Kai and only for two days.
Then, the dehydrated shishamo worked like a charm for three whole meals. On all of them!
I didn’t expect the charm to last and I was right.
Just now, only Samantha and Kai ate with the shishamo. Akira and Indra walked away.
So, my next topper is Cubgrub’s dehydrated chicken treats. I cut these up into small bits as toppers.
It worked for Indra! Even Kai came for some (she had already eaten her raw meal with shishamo earlier). Akira seemed to be showing some interest too, but Akira doesn’t eat Coco&Joe’s, only Cubgrub (as I said, high maintenance cats!).
It worked for Akira too with Cubgrub chicken, but in all, not as well as the shishamo. I know I will run out of toppers for these fussy, choosy and picky cats. I would probably have to go back to kibble for a few days, then start all over again. That would have to be the pattern until these fussy ones grow up and realise (haha….I hope?) that raw food is their biologically appropriate food, not kibble.
Spoilt brats!

I know that with all of Cubgrub’s products, there are no additives, preservatives or anything artificial. If only our cats knew (or appreciated the fact) that I bend backwards to give them the best. If only….
Well, the Monsters do! They are such good boys (and Minnie is too).
