Yesterday, Creamy started lunging at Gerald. This made Gerald so frightened that he didn’t dare to eat.
Sigh…trouble again.
I had to force feed Gerald.
Then Creamy spent all day in the porch and refused to go home while Gerald went missing and only turned up for meals, but was way too frightened to eat. I ended up force feeding Gerald but putting food into his mouth.
Today, again, Creamy lunged at Gerald. There was no fight or altercation, just some posturing but this was enough to frighten Gerald out of his wits. In fact, Creamy didn’t want to eat his food, he just wanted to lunge at Gerald to ensure he was too scared to approach. Only then did Creamy eat his food.
What a bully!
I have since force fed poor Gerald twice. In between, when Creamy wasn’t around, Gerald did come and eat some canned food on his own.
I am a hopeless and failed disciplinarian with the cats. They bully me. Scolding Creamy didn’t work. I haven’t figured out how to handle this problem yet.
Creamy looks so well-fed, right? I bet he gets his meals elsewhere too, and he only comes to our house for raw food. Look at him – that’s a good size.
Poor, poor Gerald. But luckily he was willing to be force fed, so at least he won’t be hungry.
I’m thinking perhaps I’d feed Creamy first then chase him off to go home. But he won’t go off when I chase him. He’d just stay put.
Sigh…just when I thought the two are getting along finally, Creamy had to start his aggression again.
