Phew!
I first offered kibble but he refused.
Then I offered his favourite raw chicken gizzards. I had already force fed him gizzards at 5pm this evening, so I didn’t think it would work, but it did!
Gerald eats!! Yay!
I was actually about to resort to giving him transdermal Mirtazapine if he still did not eat on his own.
That’s two pieces of gizzards there. He sapu habis.
Added on another piece of gizzard. Also polished up.
Some cut-up chicken meat, but this, he did not finish. It’s okay, at least he’s willing to eat by himself. That is such a relief!
Gerald, would you finally consider staying in Bunny’s Place with your biological family, please?
We have offered our home to him a few times now, but he was never happy being confined indoors.
Will you consider it this time, Gerald?
It’s so, so much easier to monitor them when they are confined. Being outdoors and CNRM is not at all easy because we don’t know what they do, what they eat and what altercations they get into outdoors.
I don’t hear any yowling right now….there is hope yet.
P.S. I spoke too soon, the continuous yowling has restarted. I think if he doesn’t stop, I would have to let him out again. At least I know now that he is able to eat by himself, so I don’t think he is sick.
