Literally, Gerald is “around”. I kept hearing his usual mewing all evening.
And here he is!
I also tried to get him to the come to the porch, but he wasn’t interested at all. From the ledge, I only managed to get him to get up onto our roof and that’s that.
Then I heard him mewing from the roof. So I went upstairs and opened the family hall window hoping I could get him to come in, but he did not. Finally, I managed to get him to come into one of the bedrooms upstairs!
Yay, I got him!
I straight-away took him to Bunny’s Place with the Blondies.
Marking territory. Gerald used to mark in every litter box when he was quarantined here for recovery last time.
He wasn’t interested in the evening snack.
He’s yowling, as expected, but I’m hoping he would settle down. I’m not sure what he wants, though. He was mewing at the ledge and also on the roof. Maybe, just maybe, he’s so afraid of Creamy that he might feel safer living with the Blondies in Bunny’s Place? That would be my hope, provided he keeps the yowling down.
Creamy did not come this evening. But Creamy lives on the road at the back and that is also where Gerald frequents. Why can’t Gerald just stay in our porch then? Sigh…we will never fully comprehend cat politics and their relationship dynamics.
