Juno is still passing liquid stools and she had not eaten on her own since yesterday afternoon.
I got up at 5am this morning to check on her. There was no liquid stools or any stools since 9pm last night until this morning. But about two hours after syringe-feeding some Cindy’s pureed food, she passed out liquid stools again. The consistency of the stools has not improved at all.
I’ve been giving her Feline Gut Soothe since yesterday, but it hasn’t worked so far. I’m worried about the inappetence.
But at 8.19am this morning, by sheer luck, Juno rushed to the kitchen when she heard me pouring kibble for Riley and she ate some on her own. This is a good sign, eating on her own. That was RC Renal, but never mind, as long as she’s willing to eat something by herself.
However, at 8.50am, she passed out liquid stools again.
Eating kibble on her own.
Whenever I offer wet food, she does a gagging reflex; she must be nauseated by the smell of wet food and just needs something different which will not remind her of her nausea.
Juno is still active and has been playing with Riley. Meanwhile, Riley and Tabs are keeping vigil by staying near me. They know I’m worried.
I’m keeping a record of Juno’s input and output.
We have a vet’s appointment this morning. I hope the vet can shed more light on her condition and prescribe the necessary medication for her.
I am worried because Juno is still so small. She has already lost weight since yesterday.
