I spent about 1.5 hours with Juno this afternoon. She really perked up when she saw me. And I think she looks better than she did this morning. The drip and antibiotics must be helping.
The vet assistant fed her and gave her her IV-medicines. She finished all her ID without much struggle, syringe-fed. I guess with the e-collar, she has less room to put up a fight. I’m so glad she finished her food.
Jayden said he wanted to go to the hospital to visit Juno too, but since I spend a long time there, that would have been inconvenient for Jayden.
Juno was really excited hearing Jayden’s voice and I let her watch the video too. She seemed happy. So I did this video and sent back to Jayden, who was equally ecstatic!
Two happy best friends on video conferencing!
Super manja…awww…cozying up to me. I guess without feline parents or siblings, Juno regards us as her parents. She only has us.
I brought an extra towel, so I decided to let her sleep on the towel on my lap so that it would have my scent. Then, when I finally left, I placed the towel in her cage. I also placed the sarong I sat on on top of her cage. These will provide my scent for her. I hope it helps.
Asleep for more than an hour.
A gentle massage, I think it’s called the T-Touch.
I finally had to leave, so I placed Juno back into her cage and told her I will visit her again tomorrow.
Get well soon, Juno, and you will be home soon.
I did not get to speak with the vet as she was having hours of surgery. Hopefully, she will update me later this evening.
