Creamy eats again!

This morning, Creamy did not even touch his food.

Then later, as I was walking on the road, I spotted him going to the grass in the park and getting into position to defecate. Then, he went a little further into the park, and this time, I was already up there with him. He passed out loose stools.

Oh dear…I think I’m getting a phobia of cats with loose stools by now.

But Creamy is an adult, so I don’t think it’s coccidiosis.

I carried him back home and gave him a dose of the probiotic, Feline Gut Soothe. This usually works well for adult cats with loose stools. Then I let him go.

I was a little worried about him but there is no way I could confine Creamy. He wasn’t even happy being brought inside the house.

And if you remember, I could not even get Creamy into a carrier to nebulise him a few weeks ago. So, taking him to the vet’s is almost an impossible task. Luckily way back in December 2022, I managed to catch Gerald and him together to get them neutered as both were going after Samantha and in an easy-to-catch state.

So, anyway, I have been wondering how Creamy might be until I saw him perched on our pillar just now. Hmm…he was just sitting up there comfortably and had not asked for food.

Maybe he is still unwell?

So I called him and he responded happily, jumped down and came to the door.

I offered his usual raw chicken gizzards and breast meat. This time, without Coco&Joe’s. No complicated food when having loose stools, just the simplest.

Eating very well.

See? He sapu habis and had a small second helping. I didn’t want to push it. I think the probiotic did the trick!

Gerald was a distance away and he too had his dinner of kibble. I’ve recently taught Gerald how to eat kibble. Previously, he totally rejected kibble and only wanted raw food and canned food. I decided to teach him to eat kibble for convenience and survival, in case someone else eventually feeds him, at least he knows kibble is food.

Gerald gets raw food at other times. Sometimes, his favourite canned tuna. He’s truly living the life, isn’t he?

I’m so glad Creamy is eating again. I cannot deal with another sick cat at this moment when Juno isn’t out of the woods yet.
